Christina Pazsitzky was born Christina Edith Pazsitzky on June 18, 1976, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Her parents escaped from Hungary in the early 1960s. The family moved to the U.S. when Christina was a child and settled in Southern California. After graduating from high school, Pazsitzky earned a philosophy degree from the University of San Francisco in 1999, then she attended the University of Oxford and later spent two weeks in law school.

Career

Christina made her television debut on the MTV reality series "Road Rules: Down Under" in 1998. From 2001 to 2003, she appeared on MTV's "The Challenge." She was a member of a group of comedians called the Deathsquad Network, and she has performed on USO Tours in Africa, the Middle East, and South Korea. In 2011, Christina launched the podcast "Your Mom's House" with her husband, Tom Segura, and the following year, it was nominated for Best Comedy at the Stitcher Awards. In 2018, CBS offered the couple a TV deal and gave them a pilot production commitment for a show that would be called "The Little Things." Pazsitzky appeared in the film "Countdown" in 2019, and in 2020, she lent her voice to three episodes of the animated series "The Midnight Gospel." Christina released her first stand-up comedy album, "It's Hard Being a Person," in 2011, and she followed it with the 2015 album "Man of the Year" and the Netflix specials "Mother Inferior" (2017) and "Mom Genes" (2022). She also appeared on the Netflix stand-up comedy show "The Degenerates" in 2018.

Personal Life

Christina married Tom Segura on November 8, 2008. The couple has two sons, Ellis (born 2016) and Julian (born 2018). Pazsitzky has described herself as a "fierce mama wolf," and after welcoming Ellis, she said in her comedy special "Mother Inferior," "Having a baby broke me down. I love my son, I do. He is the best thing that ever happened to me, he is the love of my life." According to Christina's official website, "She has an intense love of dogs and believes anyone who doesn't share this love is emotionally deficient."

Real Estate

In 2016, Tom and Christina spent $1.6 million on a home in Woodland Hills, California. In January 2020, they upgraded to a large home in the Pacific Palisades, which they bought for $6.65 million. A little over a year later, Tom and Christina announced that they had decided to leave California for Austin, Texas. On that note, in May 2021, they listed their Palisades mansion for $6.85 million.
