Born Elie (Eli) Horn in 1944 in Aleppo, Syria, he serves as the President of Cyrela Brazil Realty, a real estate company, since 1978. A graduate of Mackenzie University, Horn came to Brazil when he was 11 years old, and at the age of 19, he started working with his brother, Joe, in construction development in Sao Paulo. Gaining 20 years of experience in real estate, Horn finally founded his own property company, Cyrela, which is currently the major publicity traded constructor of high-end residential buildings in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo.
