The Hochschild Group was founded by his great-uncle in the early 1900s, and is a very successful mining and cement company, based in Lima, Peru.
The Hochschild Group is made up of Hochschild Mining, the Group's gold and silver mining arm, and Cementos Pacasmayo, the cement-making arm.
