What is Travers Beynon's net worth?

Travers Beynon is an Australian businessman, entrepreneur, and former Australian Rules football player who has a net worth of $200 million.

Also known as "The Candyman," Travers Beynon has courted a reputation as Australia's version of Hugh Hefner. He has also been compared to fellow Instagram Playboy Dan Bilzerian, though Dan's 30+ million Instagram followers far outshines Travers' 1 million followers.

Tobacco Heir

Travers Beynon was born on March 6, 1972. He is an heir to a tobacco empire that was launched by his parents. Before taking over the family business, Travers attempted a career in Australian Rules Football, then as a model in New York. In his earlier modeling years he sent all of his checks back to parents to help them launch the tobacco business. He ultimately bought the business outright from his family. In 1997, Travers moved back to Australia and began investing in real estate. The properties he bought reportedly ended up being incredibly valuable investments.

Today he operates a number of tobacco businesses including the franchised FREECHOICE Tobacco retail organization and Cigarette and Gift Warehouse. FREECHOICE is reportedly the largest retail tobacco franchise in Australia with over 300 stores around the country. Roughly 275 of its locations are franchises. Another branch of the business operates 1,700 cigarette vending machines. Today Freechoice reportedly does over $250 million per year in revenue.

Candyman Lifestyle

In recent years, Beynon has publicized an exceptionally hedonistic lifestyle through social media posts. He posts often involve massive parties with scantily clad women at his "Candyland" mansion in the Helensvale suburb of the City of Gold Coast in Queensland, Australian. His posts also frequently feature cars from his large collection of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Rolls Royces.

Travers' posts have been criticized for their misogynistic messages and portrayals. For example, in at least one post he was shown walking a group of lingerie-clad women on their hands and knees attached to dog collars and leashes. In 2018 he received a $13,000 fine from the local city council for displaying a giant topless Virgin Mary statue at the property, which was apparently visible from the street. Here is a video tour Travers gave of this car collection back in 2019:

Candy Shop Mansion

In June 2010 Travers paid $3.75 million for a riverfront property in the aforementioned-town of Helensvale. In 2014 he bought the property next door to bring the footprint to 1.4 acres. He then tripled the original mansion's size. Today the Candy Land mansion is roughly 60,000 square feet with 14 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. There is also a grand ballroom, enormous outdoor pool, nine car basement garage and 15-seat movie theater. Travers listed the Candy Land mansion for sale for an undisclosed price in December 2023. Here's a video from 2018 which showcases a large extension her performed on the mansion:

Personal Life

Despite what you may assume, Travers is actually married to a woman named Taesha. They met in 2009 when she was 18 and he was 37. He has at least four children. Here is a video where Taesha gives her perspective of their lifestyle:
