What is Max Biaggi's Net Worth?
Max Biaggi is an Italian former professional Grand Prix motorcycle racer who has a net worth of $20 million. During his career from 1991 to 2012, he won six World Championships, with four in the 250cc road race and two in Superbike. Biaggi serves as a brand ambassador for Aprilia motorcycles, and in 2019 became the owner of a racing team in Monaco.
Early Life
Massimiliano Biaggi was born on June 26, 1971 in Rome, Italy. Growing up, he was interested in football, but after he received a motorcycle for his 17th birthday he got into motorcycle racing. At the age of 18, Biaggi began his racing career in the 125cc class, and in 1990 won the Italian Sport Production Championship.
Grand Prix Career
Following his success in the 125cc class, Biaggi moved up to the 250cc class in 1991. That year, he came in second in the European 250cc Championship and 27th in the World Championship, riding an Aprilia RS250 in both. In 1992, Biaggi finished fifth overall in the World Championship, and in 1993, his first year with Honda, he finished in fourth. He returned to Aprilia the next season and won his first World Championship; he would go on to win three more consecutive World Championships in 1995, 1996, and 1997, in the lattermost year with Honda. In the 1998 season, Biaggi moved up to the 500cc class and had immediate success. Having won the Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix and the Czech Republic Grand Prix, he finished the season in second place behind Mick Doohan. In 1999, Biaggi moved from Honda to Yamaha and finished fourth in the standings. He continually improved over the subsequent seasons, finishing third in 2000 and second in 2001 and 2002. Back with Honda in 2003, Biaggi finished third in the standings. He took another third-place finish in 2004. Despite high hopes the next season, he only finished in fifth place in 2005.

Superbike World Championship
After taking a sabbatical during the 2006 season, Biaggi returned to racing in 2007 in the Superbike World Championship. Racing for Corona Alstare Suzuki, he had instant success by winning his first race, at the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar. At the end of the season, Biaggi came in third in the standings. Riding a Ducati for Team Sterilgarda in 2008, he finished in seventh place. In 2009, Biaggi returned to his former team Aprilia and came in fourth in the overall standings. The next season, he won his first Superbike World Championship, making him just the second rider ever to win both 250cc and Superbike titles. He also became both Italy's and Aprilia's first Superbike World Champion. After a disappointing 2011 season in which he finished in third place, Biaggi came back strong in 2012 to win his second Superbike title, albeit by only half a point over Tom Sykes. He subsequently retired from racing, although he would briefly return as a wildcard for Aprilia in 2015.
Personal Life
Biaggi was previously in a relationship with model and actress Eleonora Pedron, who was crowned Miss Italia in 2002. They were engaged and had two children before they separated in 2015.
