It takes a lot to be a baller nowadays. You need the mansion, the Maybach, the private jet, and obviously the most exclusive credit card in the world so you can pay for it all with a swipe of the wrist. When most people think of ballin credit cards, they think of the American Express Black Card. In order to get a black card, you need to be one of Amex's highest net worth customers and you need to spend more than $100,000 a year for several years in a row. Well, move over American Express, because today a bank in Kazakhstan (niiiice) has announced their plan to issue a new card made entirely out of solid gold, pearls and diamonds that puts the Black Card to shame.
Kazakhstan's Sberbank has dubbed their new credit card the "Visa Infinite Exclusive card". In addition to being made entirely out of pure gold, the card will be decorated with 26 diamonds and mother of pearl. The lucky card holder will also be granted many exclusive privileged including access to the world's best airport lounges, a free iPhone5, an exclusive Montblonc card holder, 24 hour concierge service and, for some reason, a premium health and life insurance policy worth $250,000.
Ready to apply? The solid gold Visa Infinite Exclusive card comes with a one time upfront cost of $100,000 plus a $2000 annual fee. Of the $100,000 upfront cost, $65,000 covers the cost of actually making the card and the remaining $35,000 goes to your first balance. If you're interested in signing up, you better move fast because Sberbank is only planning to offer the card to 100 customers. But it will be worth it. I mean, imagine how embarrassing it would be if you whipped out your black card at dinner and your friend trumps you with a the Visa Infinite Exclusive! Faux pas!
