Singer Craig David Lists Miami Penthouse For $5.75 Million

Musician Craig David has become known for the world-famous parties in his penthouse at the top of Miami's Mondrian South Beach, a penthouse known by the deceptively plain moniker Tower Suite 5. But that era is reportedly coming to an end, as David has put the penthouse up for sale at an asking price of $5.75 million, according to TMZ.

The parties David has thrown in the two-bedroom, two-bathroom penthouse have become the stuff of Miami legend, and the singer himself has said that he's had as many as 150 people in the 1,895-square-foot space at once, often before heading out to a Miami nightclub as late as 1 AM. But if you're hoping to get a little work done in the space, you're in luck, since whoever moves in next will also have access to the penthouse's professional-grade recording studio, as well as a spacious terrace with great views of the Miami skyline and outfitted with day beds and multiple lounge areas.

Non-party people still most likely need not apply, since it would be a crime to divest TS #5 of its hotspot reputation at this point, and it's even outfitted with myriad special interior lighting effects that make it almost like a club away from the club. Should you choose to do so, you can go full-on Tony Montana in a hot tub that overlooks downtown Miami.

David's penthouse suite is the most expensive space in the Mondrian according to Realtor.com, but it is far from the only vacancy. If you want to capture a little bit of the penthouse's party energy at a budget, you can get a studio apartment there for the low, low price of $299,000.

David reportedly purchased his own penthouse back in 2009 at a cost of $4.68 million. You can take a look at the party palace in the video below:

***UPDATE***

In November 2019 Craig accepted $4.3 million for the apartment.
