Diet queen Jenny Craig has shed some serious weight, according to a recent TMZ story. But she didn't lose it by counting calories or carbohydrates, she dropped it from her real estate portfolio by selling a massive, 7,625-square-foot mansion in Del Mar, California, which fetched the sum of $22 million.
The property boasts "panoramic ocean views from La Jolla to San Clemente" as per its official real estate listing, which also purports that it "represents the best of San Diego." It's got five bedrooms and seven baths, as well as 80 feet of private beach that whoever the new owner is can call their own.
It's all arranged for maximum privacy, tucked behind a generously proportioned, gated private driveway, with room for up to 18 cars, which will come in handy since the property is "primed for entertaining," with a spacious interior courtyard and full outdoor kitchen near the patio, swimming pool, and spa. Then there's the garage, which has space for another four cars. The listing goes on: "These exceptional amenities coupled with the property size [3/4 of an acre] and location are unparalleled anywhere else in this beach community."
The house's $22 million selling price was a pretty good sum for Craig, who reportedly bought the house way back in 1986 for just $3.25 million.
