There is no argument LeBron James is one of the best athletes in the world today. James has won two NBA Championships, two NBA Finals MVPs, four NBA MVPs, two NBA All-Star Game MVPs, and the list just keeps going. James can drive the lane to the hoop like nobody's business, but it seems that he also likes to drive off the court. LeBron has somewhat of an eclectic car collection, but it is still pretty impressive. Although he may not have the luxury cars that Floyd Mayweather does, here are some very nice cars that James has owned at one time or another.
Lamborghini Aventador
In 2014 James received a very specially-wrapped Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, which was a collaborative effort from Toys for Boys Miami, Lou La Vie, and Rich B. Caliente for the launch of the Nike LeBron XI and the King James Legacy sneakers. This car's wrap was modeled after the liner of the "King's Pride" Nike LeBron XI. The car cost $670 thousand and was commissioned by Nike. It features a 6.5 liter V12 engine.
Hummer H2
LeBron's Hummer is a bit infamous. His mother took out a loan using his "future NBA earnings potential" and hopefully James paid his mom back when he signed his first big NBA contract. This purchase was investigated by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, but no rule violations were found.
Maybach 57S
James bought a very nice Maybach 57S that features a V12 engine and 620 horsepower. He even ordered customized KNG OF OH plates, but sold the car around the same time that Mercedes ended its Maybach production.
1975 Chevrolet Impala
The King's Chevy Impala is blue with white pin striping and also has a custom sub-encrusted trunk, cabana colored interior trim, and color matched chrome rollers.
Dodge Challenger
James had this car made as a tribute to his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys. It features a silver paint job with blue racing stripes.
Rolls-Royce Phantom
LeBron was lucky enough to receive a Phantom for his 25th birthday as a gift from the fellow future hall of famer Shaquille O'Neal. The car set Shaq back about $450 thousand.
Ferrari 599
As if the Rolls-Royce Phantom Shaq got him was not enough, LeBron bought himself a Ferrari 599 for his 25th birthday for $310 thousand.
LeBron James has also owned several other luxury cars including a Porsche 911 Turbo S worth $180 thousand, a Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG worth $140 thousand, a Ferrari F430 Spider with a fully automatic electric hood, a Dodge Challenger SRT, a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with his lion logo stitched into the headrests, a Chevrolet Camaro SS described as the perfect car for a Stormtrooper, a Bentley Continental GT worth $175 thousand, a classic red Ferrari 458 worth $234 thousand, and a Range Rover HSE. It's good to be the King.
