She's young, beautiful, and a billionaire. At just 20 years old, Alexandra Andresen is, in fact, the world's youngest billionaire. Her $1.2 billion net worth certainly makes things easier – after all, she'll never have to turn something down because she can't afford it. She is also a three-time junior dressage riding champ. When she's not spending time with her horses, Alexandra likes to travel. As you can imagine, she can afford to do this in luxury.
Andresen details her world travels on her Instagram account. The Norwegian has posted about her travels to Greece, Switzerland, and Africa. She has posted about glamorous parties, fabulous vacations, and of course, a plethora of horses. From private jets to jet skis to zip lines, this heiress knows how to travel in style.
Andresen inherited a 42% stake in the family business, a company called Ferd, in 2007. The family made their billions in the tobacco industry. Today, Ferd deals mainly in hedge funds.
Andresen has been a part of the horsey set since she was a child. She started riding at a young age and has had quite a successful career as a professional dressage competitor. She lives in Germany, where she rides professionally in dressage competitions. She and her horse, Belamour, make the rounds of the European Junior Riders Championships.
Alexandra's father still runs the family business and doesn't expect her or her slightly older sister to go into the family business. She recognizes that her wealth gives her opportunities, but that money doesn't equal success.
For right now, Alexandra is content competing in dressage and jetting off to fabulous vacations at every opportunity. For a peek at her fabulous adventures, head over to Instagram. You'll see her exotic vacations and nights out with friends side by side with pictures of her horses. Alexandra also features other animals she encounters in her world travels such as the elephants and giraffes she got up close and personal with during a recent trip to Africa.
In an interview on the Ferd Holdings website, Alexandra Andresen remarked that having this great wealth was not enough. She intends to give something back and grow the company into something better.
