What is Rick Huxley's Net Worth?
Rick Huxley was an English musician who had a net worth of $10 million. Born Richard Huxley in 1940 in Dartford, Kent, England, Rick Huxley played bass for the Dave Clark Five. The band is considered to be part of the globe-sweeping British Invasion. Huxley joined in the late '50s and stayed with the group until it disbanded in 1970. Following the group's end, he dabbled in music while focusing on a new career path in real estate and property. While with the band, Huxley was part of more than a dozen studio albums, including their 1964 debut "Glad All Over", "Coast to Coast", "Having a Wild Weekend", "I Like It Like That", "Satisfied with You", "You Got What It Takes", and "If Somebody Loves You".
The band's single "Glad All Over" was the only song finally able to dethrone The Beatles' "I Want To Hold Your Hand" on the U.K. charts. In 2008, Huxley was present when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Dave Clark Five. On February 11, 2013, he died at the age of 72 after a long bout with emphysema. He passed away in Old Harlow, Essex, England.
