What is Fez Whatley's Net Worth?

Fez Whatley was an American talk show host and comedian who had a net worth of $2 million. Born "Fez" Marie Whatley on March 31, 1964 he is best known as one half of the talk show host team of Ron and Fez, though he originally became known for producing and contributing to the highly-successful syndicated radio show The Ron and Ron Show (starring his future radio co-host Ron Bennington). Whatley suffered a mild heart attack on November 9, 2005, an incident which he did not recognize as a heart attack and was also diagnosed with diabetes. An angioplasty was performed on him in 2005 and he returned to work that same year in November. Approximately a year later he left the show again due to chest pains and subsequently had a second stent inserted. On September 24, 2010, Fez was diagnosed as having had yet a third heart attack while in the hospital receiving treatment for an unrelated medical issue.

His announcement in February of 2011 that he was gay was made on the one-year anniversary of his father's death. The Ron and Fez Show moved to XM Satellite Radio in September of 2005 after leaving WJFK 106.7 FM in Washington, D.C. In February of 2010, Whatley put up a $1,000 cash reward for the apprehension, conviction and incarceration of vandals who defaced the Mount Airy, North Carolina statue of Sheriff Andy Taylor and Opie Taylor (of the iconic '60s television series The Andy Griffith Show). In 2015 Whatley announced his retirement from radio. Unfortunately Fez died on August 14, 2021.
