Kostyantin Zhevago took the lead of Poltava Iron Ore Mining Refinery (PGOK), the largest exporter of pellets in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 1996, when he was only twenty two. Eleven years later, he took his mining company Ferrexpo public, thus being the first Eastern European to present one of his companies to the London Stock Exchange.
