What Is Paulina Gretzky's Net Worth?

Paulina Gretzky is a Canadian-American pop singer and model who has a net worth of $5 million. Although Paulina Gretzky is probably best known for being the eldest daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and wife of professional golfer Dustin Johnson, she has become quite the celebrity in her own right.

Outside of her modeling and singing career, Paulina is quite active on social media. She has almost 800,000 followers on Instagram alone, and her pictures certainly get people talking. In addition, she is an established actress with a number of credits under her belt.

Early Life

Paulina Mary Jean Gretzky was born on December 19, 1988, in Los Angeles, California. She moved with her family to New York when her father started playing for the New York Rangers and attended Nightingale-Bamford High School. Upon graduating, she was accepted into the School of American Ballet, but she chose not to attend. Instead, she set her sights on a career in modeling, acting, and music.

Career

Paulina Gretzky initially rose to prominence thanks to the magic of social media. Her pictures were often described as "racy" or "risque" by various publications, and she was offered a modeling contract in 2005. She has booked a number of modeling jobs over the years and has appeared on the cover of "Flare" magazine. She continues to pose in bikinis and revealing outfits, much to the joy of her followers.

Paulina began her singing career much earlier and sang "I Will Remember You" in a public performance at the Heritage Classic in 2003. The next year, she sang the Canadian national anthem at the 2004 Hockey World Cup in Toronto. Building on this success, Gretzky released the moderately successful track "Gathering Dusk," which gained exposure after being featured on the MTV reality series "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County." The song was later released on iTunes. She reportedly signed with AO Recordings in the following years.

Outside of modeling and music, Paulina has worked as an actress. In 2009, she appeared in the film "Fame." In 2012, she followed up with a role in the direct-to-DVD film "Guns, Girls, and Gambling." Next year, she was exposed to a much wider audience with a role in the Adam Sandler film "Grown Ups 2." She is also known for her appearance in the film "Alpha Dog."

Relationships

Paulina Gretzky became engaged to professional golfer Dustin Johnson in 2013. Prior to their engagement, the couple dated for about 6 months. They finally married in 2022. Paulina is often praised for keeping an incredible physique despite having two children.

Gretzky and Johnson allegedly had a falling out after an incident in 2018, although they apparently reconciled just a few weeks later. The incident allegedly arose after Johnson "got too close" to a California woman who media sources described as a "groupie."

Social Media

In 2011, Paulina Gretzky closed down her Twitter account. A media frenzy soon followed, with numerous sources suggesting this was due to the revealing nature of the pictures she was posting. Her father, Wayne, allegedly recommended that she close down her account, ostensibly to prevent any further PR nightmares.

As of this writing, Paulina has one million followers on Instagram.
