Pop quiz – If money was no object, what would be your ultimate dream car? Follow up question – Once you attained your dream car, would you be happy with the factory version would you customize it in any way? Obviously a big part of owning an expensive luxury dream car is getting to show it off when you drive around town, but is there such a thing as too showy? Is there such a thing as over-customized or too much bling when it comes to cars? Before you answer, take a look at this Camaro that a Tampa custom shop created for a client. It might be the most blinged out car of all time…
Tampa's 813 Customs is calling their creation the King ZL1. It was built off a standard $68,000 Camaro ZL1 convertible that had to be completely torn down and re-built from scratch for a customer who has asked to remain anonymous. After posting photos of the ZL1 on 813's facebook page, a heated debate erupted over whether this creation is beautiful or hideous. The King ZL1 interior features lots of hidden gadgets, including three 23-inch televisions that appear from the back seat with a push of a button, a Playstation console, dozens of speakers and a green leather. The exterior, in case you didn't notice is wrapped in a gold-chrome wrap. Under the hood you will find a 6.2 liter V-8 and a Whipple supercharger. Ironically, the engine and supercharger can't ever really be tested at full throttle because the car sits precariously on custom gold-plated 30-inch Forgiato Maschili rims that will likely bend at the first pothole they encounter. In total, the owner spent $100,000 creating his dream car. So what do you think? Would you drive this?
