Early Life
Lauren London was born on December 5, 1984, in Los Angeles, California. She first attended Palisades High School but ultimately decided to be home-schooled so that she could focus on her acting career.

Career
Lauren began her professional career appearing in multiple music videos for such artists as, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Tyrese, T.I., Ludacris, Common, and Ne-Yo. She then transitioned into film and television work in 2006. London first caught the public's attention with a guest-starring role on "Everybody Hates Chris" in the episode "Everbody Hates Funerals." That same year, she snagged her first film role when she played hip-hop artist T.I.'s romantic interest in the coming-of-age film "ATL." Her performance was met with much critical acclaim, and she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the Black Movie Awards.
The following year, Lauren landed a role on HBO's "Entourage" playing the love interest of Jerry Ferrara's character, Turtle. Later in 2007, she was given a role in "This Christmas" without having to audition, solely based on her impressive performance in "ATL." The same year, she became a spokesmodel for the Sean John woman's collection. In 2008, London landed the role of Christina in season one of the reboot of "90210." Her next film role was the character of Ivy in 2009's "Next Day Air." She also played Cammy Alcott in the Chris Columbus film "I Love You, Beth Cooper" and appeared on the covers of the magazines "King" and "Jewel."

Since then, Lauren has gone back and forth between guest-starring and co-starring roles in such film and television projects as "Single Ladies," "Reed Between the Lines," and "Madea's Big Happy Family." Lauren was a series regular on the show "The Game." She appeared in a total of 44 episodes between 2013 and 2015. In 2013, she co-starred in "Baggage Claim," a film adaptation of the playwright and director David E. Talbert's 2005 novel. In 2016, London starred as the character Ginger in the film "The Perfect Match." In 2018, London starred in two Lifetime Movies: "Always & 4Ever" and "Poinsettias for Christmas." In 2019, she played the lead character of Vanessa King in BET's "Games People Play." In 2023, she co-starred with Eddie Murphy, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jonah Hill, David Duchovny, and Nia Long in the Netflix film "You People."
Personal Life
London was a bridesmaid at Khloe Kardashian's wedding and has appeared in a number of Kardashian-related television shows.
Lauren has one son with rapper Lil Wayne. They met when she was 15 years old and were briefly engaged.
London began dating Ermias Asghedom, better known as rapper Nipsey Hussle, in 2013. She gave birth to their first child, a boy named Kross Ermias Asghedom, in August 2016. Tragically, Nipsey was shot and killed on March 31, 2019, outside of his clothing store in Los Angeles.

In January 2020, Lauren paid $1.7 million for a four-bedroom home in Sherman Oaks, California.
