Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather's Aug. 26 boxing match, which took place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, while more entertaining that most people thought it would be, ended in the fashion nearly everybody thought it would; a Mayweather victory. The 40-year-old boxer handily defeated McGregor in a 10th round TKO, earning his 50th victory in the process, and becoming the boxer with the most career victories without a loss. But now, after taking a couple months off, McGregor is ready for a rematch; but this time, he wants it to happen on his turf.
Scroll through Conor McGregor's Instagram feed, and it isn't hard to see that he has been thoroughly enjoying himself since his defeat at the hands of Floyd Mayweather in late August. But McGregor is clearly ready to get back to work, as evidenced by his comments in a Q&A session in Glasgow, Scotland. In the session, he spoke about a variety of topics, including talking about who he potentially wanted to fight in his UFC comeback. That's when he mentioned Mayweather.
Said the Irishman, "What sickens me is that the little motherf***** is retired now. If I had another go with him, under boxing rules, I'd get that win. He had to change his whole approach. With those lessons I learned, with another go around, I'd get it. He's 50-0 and getting on, I'm not calling him out. I'll sit back. We'll see how he gets on with this round of money. Maybe I'll get another call. Originally he was saying an MMA bout next. That's what he said before the fight."

McGregor continued, "He did say an MMA fight. So if he wants to, lets f****** do it. There's not a hope in hell… I'd like to see him come over to our side and have a knock. I earned their respect and put myself out there. Style over to my side and earn our respect now."
He also spoke about his former sparring partner Paulie Malignaggi, calling him a "rat of a thing." Malignaggi revealed McGregor's biggest weakness on a podcast shortly after the former two-weight world champion quit as McGregor's sparring partner as a result of feeling "exploited" by his camp.
When speaking about Malignaggi, McGregor said the following, "Paulie is talking enough s***, he's stuck for money, and looking for a fight … He's talking about b****, bringing b****, well bring your b**** and fight in a real fight. That's where we're at… I'd like one of them to come over on our side … He's a f****** rat of a thing. If he wants, look, f***… I've got the UFC title to defend. But if that little fool is stuck for money, maybe we could get him in for an MMA bout."
Whether Mayweather or Malignaggi will take McGregor up on his offer remains to be seen.
