Chryseis Tan is the daughter of Malaysian billionaire Vincent Tan. Mr. Tan has a net worth of $1.2 billion. His daughter knows just how to spend her daddy's money: traveling the world via private plane. So far this year, the 29-year-old has visited 16 countries on four continents. She shares pictures of her jet setting lifestyle with her 220,000 Instagram followers. In her Instagram bio, Chryseis says: "I want to travel the world." She is sure doing that! She is based in Kuala Lumpar and in 2017 alone she has crisscrossed the globe, traveled across Asia and Europe several times as well as spent time in the U.S., Africa and Dubai, to name just a few of her destinations.
Chryseis' partner in her jet-setting travels is her fiancé Faliq Nasimuddin. The couple began dating in 2014. They come from similar backgrounds. Faliq's father is the late billionaire Tan Sri Nasimuddin Amin.
So far this year, the couple rang in the New Year in Dubai, rode camels during a safari, spent time in Bangkok and Beijing, and then jetted off to Modena, Italy in early March. In Italy, the couple ate at Osteria Francescana, which is currently ranked as one of the world's best restaurants. Chryseis and Faliq indulged in every single dessert on the menu. The restaurant has three Michelin stars and offers a 12-course tasting menu for just under $300 and charges just over $35 for each of the restaurant's six desserts.
Chryseis spent time in Florence and Milan before heading to Tokyo to see the famous cherry blossom trees.
The heiress is one of 11 children. She uses family reunions as an excuse to travel as well. This year alone, she visited Seoul to see her mother and toured Nara and Kyoto Japan with her sister. After that family time, she jetted off to Hong Kong. She was back in Malaysia for her mother's birthday, then took a brief trip to Singapore before flying off the United States. Chryseis met up with her friends to tour Miami, San Francisco, and Napa before heading off for a tropical vacation in Turks and Caicos.
In June, she headed back to Europe where she spent time in Paris and Vienna. At the end of the month, she reunited with Faliq to visit Morocco. It was there that he proposed to her with a sign made of flower blossoms that read: "Will you marry me?"
After that, Chryseis jumped onto her private jet to go to Phuket, Thailand. She also made stops in Kyoto (again) and took a vacation in Switzerland. Barcelona, Greece, and Bali were up next for Chryseis. Then she went to Jakarta and the Shanghai Disney Resort.
Chryseis isn't just a jet-setting heiress. She is also a business woman who is CEO of Malaysia's largest inner city shopping mall, Berjaya Times Square, as well as the executive director of Berjaya Assets Bhd. She has also invested in two restaurants in Malaysia and the app Goxip. The app allows user to take a picture of celebrities' clothing on social media sites and get a list of places where they can buy similar looks.
At last check in, Chryseis was in Hong Kong, but it is sure to be no time at all before she is off on her next world traveling adventure.
