Early Life
Deeley was born on October 23, 1976, in Sandwell General Hospital in West Bromwich, West Midlands in England, and was given the name Catherine. She grew up in Birmingham in Sutton Coldfield. As an adolescent, she attended Grove Vale Junior School and then Dartmouth High School in Great Barr. While there, she played clarinet in the Sandwell Youth Concert Band. She then was accepted into the selective Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Sutton Coldfield.
