He is a left handed goaltender who first played for Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the RSL and KHL in Russia. Bobrovsky was never drafted in the NHL but signed with the Philadelphia Flyers where he played from 2010 to 2012. He played for SKA Saint Petersburg in the KHL from 2012 to 2013.
