Tara Palmer-Tomkinson was born in Hampshire, England in December 1971. She was commonly referred to as T P-T. She attended Sherborne School for Girls and then briefly worked in the City of London for Rothschilds bank. Palmer-Tomkinson wrote a weekly column for the Sunday Times in the mid to late 1990s.
